Mike has over 25 years’ experience as a leading management consultant.  He specialises in the operational, business, regulatory, policy and institutional aspects of air and marine transport.  In airports and air traffic management, he helps operators, government, regulators and development agencies to formulate policy and strategy and to develop business cases.  He also works at the operational level to define strategies and concepts of operation, as well as measure, analyse and improve performance and resilience.  He is experienced in the airspace change process, from initial design through trial designs and analysis, to impact assessment and options appraisal.

In the aviation policy domain, he assists international and national, government and non-governmental organisations to develop their policies covering, for example, Brexit, open skies agreements, institutional and regulatory frameworks, infrastructure development and operation, and research and innovation.  In the maritime sector Mike helps clients to develop strategy, requirements and conceptual architectures for resilient position, navigation and timing (PNT) infrastructure and services.
