Wendy is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 20 years of professional experience in a railway discipline. Her areas of speciality include maintenance optimisation, introduction of new rolling stock, reliability growth, rolling stock testing, franchise bidding, efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
Wendy has supported the procurement and introduction of new train fleets in the UK. She has worked with rolling stock manufacturers to deliver new builds supporting the approvals and testing processes. She has also supported UK train operators ensuring that the rolling stock design is compliant with functional and technical specifications. Wendy also has experience in project delivery in multidisciplinary projects ranging from the introduction of new maintenance regimes, fleet upgrades and refurbishment through to management of train testing.
