Efthymia has a successful track record of managing projects and safety assurance in the railway and highway sectors. She has led safety assessment processes and followed governance frameworks for capital infrastructure programmes in the highways domain, including obtaining certification and safety approvals. Efthymia has also managed the risk evaluation and assessment process for the introduction of new trains to the UK and the safety assurance of ETCS introduction. She has conducted various qualitative and quantitative risk analysis for road and railway systems, providing evidence-based advice on safety interventions and policies.
Efthymia has managed projects undergoing significant change and has demonstrated strong management and organisational skills having worked with diverse teams in tight timescales. She is adept at identifying project risk and taking suitable actions to ensure successful delivery.
