Mike brings over 30 years’ experience in areas including railway upgrades, engineering, operations, procurement, contract management, operational readiness, availability and service resilience.
He has a particular strength in working with users – both railway staff and passengers – to ensure that their needs are understood and that the engineered solutions fully deliver the required functionality. He is also highly skilled in safety analysis and incident investigations, having led rail accident investigations in the UK, South Africa and Australia as well as conducting independent safety assessments of various rail operations.
