Richard is a consultant with over 17 years’ extensive experience in helping clients in the rail sector to prepare and implement their strategies, deliver projects and improve operations. Specialising in rolling stock, Richard has worked with many high profile owning groups, operators, manufacturers and financiers.
Throughout his career, Richard has demonstrated his skills across multiple disciplines, in particular involvement in the development and delivery of many major rail franchise bids in the UK, including rolling stock strategy and bid document production. He has supported owning groups in rolling stock tendering and procurement, including development of tender material and technical documentation and supported operators on new train introduction and rolling stock strategic advice. He has worked with multinational rolling stock manufacturers in development of tenders for major new fleets, delivery of new trains, performance and operational improvement.
